About
Mike Proulx credits his early interest in real estate to his cousin, a home buyer who desired to help people in tough situations, renovate run-down homes, and revitalize communities. As a result, Mike developed a longing to help everyone, regardless of condition or circumstance, find new homes. Bolstered by a background in structural ironwork and a knowledge of building construction, Mike's now in his fourth year as a real estate agent after a six-month mentorship under the guidance of his broker.
His philosophy for success is based on an unwavering belief in constant communication. As he's always out showing houses, his finger is firmly on the pulse of the market. A comprehensive knowledge of online marketing and a strong network of agents and lenders are just some of the tools he brings to the table. Mike established the record for the most expensive single-family home sold in the history of Peabody, Massachusetts, selling for $1,230,000 after just one week of showings, and of the more than 320 agents in his brokerage, he's in the top 20. A personal goal is to build his own real estate rental portfolio while helping homeowners, investors, and first-time buyers accomplish their real estate objectives.
Mike prides himself on a willingness to go above and beyond for his clients. Everyone's needs are different, and he works hard to find the right solution. Cheerful and upbeat by nature, he's always upfront, honest and will never advise something that is not in his client's best interest. His specialty is residential real estate - buying homes directly with a smooth and easy transaction, even if they require extensive repairs or a quick sale. He can handle everything from land sales to luxury homes and multi-unit investment properties.
Mike is married and has six children, including twins born in February. They're an outdoor family that loves hiking, fishing, and kayaking. He has owned a canoe and kayak rental shop and is a certified kayak instructor. Currently living in Hampstead, Mike is licensed in NH & MA and covers all of Southern NH and Northern MA.
